Minister of Local Government Housing Early Education and Environmental Protection Pro Nkhandu Luo has directed all the councils to reposes the running of all the bus stations and markets.

She said this when she met all the council secretaries at the ministry.

Professor Nkandu Luo also advised all the councils country wide to takeover management of all the markets and bus station. She instructed to stop any illegal collection of levies by any union or group.

She said this will help the councils collect enough levies that will help build toilets and improved the infrastructure of the markets country wide.
